My name is Damla Kayıhan Çarhacıoğlu. I have a BA degree from English Language & Literature at Istanbul University, and have been working as a professional English<>Turkish linguist for 20 years. My native language is Turkish and my English level is C1-C2. I have successfully worked on the translation/transcreation projects of major global brands as well as EU projects & academic projects with various institutions, and delivered around 10 million words so far during my career. I use Trados Studio 2022, as well as cloud platforms such as XTM Cloud, MemoQWeb, Memsource (Phrase), Lingotek, Redokun, etc. I am one of the linguists with the highest quality rating in the translation agencies which I work for.
My average daily output is 2000-3000 words for translation, 3000-4000 words for MTPE, and 4000-5000 words for editing/proofreading.

Rates and Project History
Translation, editing/proofreading, and MTPE projects are charged by source word. Transcreation materials are charged per project. Please note that I apply a minimum fee for short documents less than 175 words. I can accept payment via bank transfer, Remitly, Veem, or Wise. Please e-mail me your project to get an exact quote.
As a native Turkish translator, I only translate into Turkish or English. I have successfully worked on the translation projects of major global brands, and delivered around 10 million words so far during my career since 2004.
